GETTING AROUND A vehicle is recommended for exploring Blue Ridge and the surrounding North Georgia mountains. Darby’s Ridge is located in the gated Ridges Over the Lake community, with convenient access to the Aska Adventure Area, Lake Blue Ridge and downtown Blue Ridge. Mountain roads are part of the experience, and the driveway leading to the cabin is steep. Most guests navigate it comfortably in normal conditions, but AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended during winter weather or whenever snow or ice is possible.
